A grandpa's fight against Stage 3 Cancer

My name is Jeralyn, and I’ve set up this fundraiser for my father-in-law, Robert, who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).

Robert is a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren, one of whom he has not yet had the chance to meet in person. I deeply hope he can overcome this challenge, so he has the opportunity to watch his grandchildren grow and spend more precious time with them.

On 9 January, Robert was rushed to the Emergency Department and began his first round of chemotherapy on 13 January 2025. He will need to undergo at least five rounds of chemotherapy to shrink the tumour, followed by surgery and further radiotherapy.

He needs approx. $3000 each round, which covers chemo treatment, laboratory tests, hospital charges, professional fees and medications.

All funds raised will go directly towards covering his medical bills and associated expenses.
