Help Stella get urgent medical care for TBD!
Tax deductible
Hi, my name is Stella and beyond lucky to be the foster mama to a precious cat named TBD. We need your help.
Unfortunately, TBD’s vets discovered that he has a fractured canine tooth, which is likely causing him discomfort and pain. This sweet boy means the world to me and it’s breaking my heart to know that I don’t have the means to cover his medical costs and make him feel better. I completely adore this boy and wish so badly I could keep him forever, but decided to foster him rather than adopt him because I know I can’t afford a cat on a grad school stipend. I’m doing all I can to help him, but I need your help now.
If you can donate anything at all, it would be appreciated more than words. ❤️
TBD’s Backstory:
I first found TBD last spring when he was roaming around my apartment complex. He seemed quite feral so I trapped him, had him neutered, and released him back where I found him. This is considered one of the most effective ways to help control the population of feral cats, particularly ones who wouldn’t be suitable as indoor cats. When I took him in to get neutered, they asked me his name and I hadn’t named him so I wrote down TBD. I figured I’d come up with a name later, but when they brought him back after he was neutered, his name tag said TBD and the name just stuck!
Well, a few weeks after I released TBD, this once feral boy had a change of heart and decided he wanted to be loved and have a home. Every single day he’d wait by my parking spot for me to get home. My neighbors would laugh as he’d sprint across the parking lot to me. Finally, when it got too cold outside, I brought him in.
He’s been the BEST boy. He’s spunky, sweet, and endlessly playful. It breaks my heart to know I can’t afford to keep him because I’m a poor grad student, but I will do anything in my power to give him the happily ever after that deserves.
Unfortunately, the vets discovered that TBD has a fracture in his canine tooth. It’s likely causing him pain and while I will gladly bend my grad school budget for a $50 spay/neuter for a cat in need, I simply don’t have the financial means to pay for his $750+ procedure.
So, I’m asking for help. TBD doesn’t deserve to suffer simply because the human who took him in doesn’t have the money to get him care. We really, really need your help. If you have even $10 to spare to put toward getting TBD better, it would mean the world to me and to TBD.
Thank you so, so much for reading our story and for helping us!
