My brother works 12 hour days. He is a mechanic on heavy machinery. He comes home to his beautiful wife and infant twin babies sore, tired, covered in grease but with a smile. He loves his family. He never complains. He never asks for help. He just straps his boots on and gets to work. He is the definition of “good ole boy” if there ever was one. 

Well. He needs our help. He has fallen ill leaving him with spells of vision loss, the inability to drive or function in even the most mundane tasks. He is almost completely incapacitated. He’s been to several doctors and has come up empty handed. He’s continuing to seek medical care but cannot work in the process. He is the sole supporter of their family and the stress of keeping a roof over their heads is adding to his ailments. Please. I’m begging for any generosity on the behalf of my family. He was denied short term disability and is doing everything he can to find out what’s wrong and work to move past this. Unfortunately, bills don’t stop when you get sick. On top of the stressors of everyday life, this is his babies’ first Christmas. As many of you who know him know, he would give you the shirt off his back. He’s the best man I know. Please. Help me help him in a time when he needs it most.

Update: He has an MRI scheduled for Thursday. We are hopeful but scared.
