A Good Cop Needs Some Backup

Folks, my name is Deputy Watson with the Bosque County Sheriff’s Office. To start off, I would like to state that I’ve never done one of these before but, the need is urgent. One of our own is very sick, and  could sure use some help. His name is Deputy Kirkland, and he’s had a career like no other. Deputy Kirkland has served the citizens of Bosque County and Hamilton County for over 29 years. Deputy Kirkland has also been the Chief of the Venus Police Department, a Police Officer and a Firefighter with the City of Woodway, and Investigator for the Texas State Prison System. To say that he’s gotten some very dangerous folks off the street would be an understatement. A few months ago, Deputy Kirkland started having some health issues regarding his heart. Things have progressed to the point where he’s in an Intensive Care Unit in a Central Texas Hospital. Deputy Kirkland is currently out on medical leave. This sudden and rapid departure has brought on some extra financial stress that was unexpected to say the least. Therefore, I humbly request that the public contribute whatever spare funds they have to this brave man. He dedicated his life in service to others, let us repay him in kind. All proceeds go directly to Deputy Kirkland or his immediate family. Thankyou, and god bless.
