A Glimmer of Hope Amidst The War - Gaza Strip

I never imagined I would find myself in this situation.

My name is Mohammed, and I am 41 years old. I live in Gaza, and my life has been dedicated to raising my four wonderful children, with the hope of providing them with a bright and secure future. I have been married for 20 years, and my family is my world.

My eldest daughter, Raghad, was on the brink of enrolling in university, marking a joyous milestone for our family. My son, Kareem, not only excelled academically but also personally, gaining recognition for his achievements in various horse riding competitions in the Gaza Strip. My younger daughters, Layan and Dima, aged 12 and 8, fill our home with warmth and love.

I have always been known for my dedication to my family, building a life centered around nurturing my children's dreams. Kareem, with his passion for artificial intelligence, aspired to contribute to our country's development through self-study. We had so many hopes and dreams.

But the ongoing war in Gaza has shattered our lives. Our once-warm home was destroyed, forcing us to flee multiple times. We first left our fully devastated Karama neighborhood, only to face further upheaval in Sheikh Radwan. Seeking safety, we sought refuge at Al-Shifa Hospital, initially perceived as a secure place from the relentless bombing. However, even there, safety proved elusive, prompting us to move again to the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Khan Yunis, and eventually to Rafah.

My sole hope now is to secure the safety of my family in a peaceful location. To rebuild our lives and fulfill my children's dreams, I dream of returning to Gaza, a place I have always loved. However, to achieve this, I need a substantial amount. This amount is essential, as a significant portion will cover the fees for the coordination services required to facilitate our exit from the conflict zone, costing £4000 per adult person and £2800 for each child PLUS The living expenses about $9500.
