Hi, my name is Bob Pendarvis, and I’m fundraising to help launch a new series of comics to help my cute character Ana reach new audiences with her educational and fun message about visual storytelling.
For the last three years, I’ve been working hard to create new artwork for the latest of my three-book educational drawing series.
But it hasn’t been easy.
While working on the books, I’ve been struggling with some severe health problems, including multiple surgeries, long COVID, diabetes, and kidney disease.
It’s slowed me down, but never stopped me!
And now I have something I’m excited to share: a brand-new book called “Ana Teaches Storydrawing and Jimmy Heads Back Home.”
While the first book in the series focused on basic drawing lessons for youngsters, the sequel is all about storytelling, or as I like to call it STORYDRAWING. Comics, comic strips, storyboards, picture books—this book covers it all.
But that’s not all!
I’ve also been working on brand-new art for my earlier volume, “A Girl Teaching Art Classes in the Spooky Woods Near a Witch.” And I’ve added tons of new pages. Whew!
Plus, this year I plan to launch new hardcover versions of both books. (Sturdy and lasting, yay!)
All the money raised will go towards everything Ana needs to get her educational message out there— book production, promotional materials, and promotional events.
I’m excited for this new journey and would be humbly grateful if you’ll help us along the way!
