A note from Yvonne:
This goes out to all the people who have watched or helped me raise my niece, Bella Alberson. Since graduating high school in May, she is currently working at Jakes Cafe here in Las Cruces. What you probably don’t know is she has been a member and is currently president of the Ft. Seldon 4H Club and this is her final year of 4H. This year we’ve bought some fantastic show lambs and goats and they have placed well in the local shows so far. I am confident that she will make the Junior Livestock Sale wherever she shows.
This show season she will be competing in the New Mexico State Fair, the El Paso, TX County Fair, the Southern NM State Fair, the Eastern NM State Fair, and possibly, the Arizona Nationals. That is 5 major shows in a short amount of time and a lot of bidding going on!
My goal is for Bella to make enough money in these sales to show that we commend her for her hard work and dedication over the last 10 years. She has made the sale in the past and has sold her animals for an adequate amount of money. With your help I would like to see her animals sell for an obscene amount of money like some of the other 4H and FFA members. (I've seen animals sell for $30 - $50K each) Setting up a Go Fund Me page is the only way I've figured out how to do this. With the funds from this endeavor, I can hopefully make that happen. The money collected from you will be divided amongst and go towards the different livestock auctions that Bella is in. She receives the money for the animal that is auctioned off.
Bella would like to put a down payment on a land/home package and take some business classes. How many 18-year-olds do you know that want to own land this early in their life? She has already paid off a car AND a mid-size truck in one year. Again, how many 18-year-olds do you know that have 2 vehicles they paid for themselves? She has goals and works hard to make them happen that’s for sure.
If you see it in your heart to help Bella get a great price for her animals, I guarantee your money will not be wasted!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.
