This is the story of Chloe — a courageous young woman with a dream, a guitar, a backpack, and a suitcase, venturing from a small country farm on the Mid North Coast of NSW to Northern Ireland, to pursue her dream of becoming a sound engineer.
In a world that can sometimes feel chaotic and heavy, Chloe’s journey is a beacon of strength, empowerment, and kindness.
Her brave step into the unknown is more than just a personal leap — it’s a ripple of music, sound, and healing that she hopes to share with the world.
From her early experiences at the Avoca Theatre, where the owners and staff welcomed her like family and shared their love for live music. Backyard gigs, festivals, and even dreams of the Opera House — Chloe's passion for music and sound has only grown stronger.
She believes in the power of sound — from the universal vibration of “Om” to the way a single song can transport you back in time.
Understanding the value music and books can play in everyone’s lives to transport the mind and heal the soul.
Now, Chloe’s taking that passion to study sound healing and music at the university in Northern Ireland — combining creativity, science, and soul to make a difference through sound.
But here's the reality...
Chloe comes from a home full of love, not luxury — raised by a single mum where dollars are stretched, but support is abundant. After 8 months of saving hard by staying home to study online and working at the local pub and restaurants, the dream is within reach and on the plane she has gone … but the UK pound doesn’t go far when you're coming from Aussie dollars.
With flights, insurance, visas, and university accommodation deposits now paid, the financial gap is real — but this is where our community can make all the difference.
