A gift for Holly after a tough year

This has been a tough year for my mom. For those who don't know the whole story, Holly was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer) in April of 2022. Since then, she has had a whirlwind of a year. The diagnosis itself took a lengthy procedure which involved placing stents in her bile ducts. She then had an over 9-hour Whipple procedure which involved removing the tumor as well as parts of her stomach, pancreas, intestines, liver, etc. It is a very tough surgery and the recovery was long. A few weeks after this surgery, mom started a long journey of oral chemotherapy. She finished this chemotherapy in December which culminated with another open surgery to fix some incisional hernias. There have been multiple complications and hospital stays peppered in there, but that is the gist of her year. It's been hard for the whole family, especially mom.

Of course, mom wanted to keep her privacy and not tell many people. This is the first time her story will be shared with many people. This past year has been tough with many medical bills, a lot of missed time from work, as well as the normal life bills she had to keep up with amongst it all. It is her birthday this coming week and I wanted to see if we could bless her with a gift to alleviate some of those burdens.
