Gordon's Story

As many of you know, Gordon Huie, is the only "triple" ever recorded in NYC history related to the bombing of 9/11/2001. He is a SURVIVOR, family member, and a rescue worker rendering medical and surgical care that fateful morning in New York City.

God has been using my unique platform in speaking and giving tours at Ground Zero 9/11TributeMuseum as a volunteer speaker in the galleries. I have touched many lives and have contributed to much healing of so many who have been harboring their silent burden for so many years. I've been invited to speak nationally and internationally from my unique platform. For the many of you who have come visit me at Ground Zero, and have heard my personal narrative and testimony, you've doubt experience a game-changer; you no longer view life the same way as usual(in a good way).

Due to my medical condition, I have not been able to work full time since November 2017, leaving me with no health insurance. My medical bills for my numerous surgeries and months of treatments in 2019 has taken its toll and depleted my savings of these past 30-40 years of employment. Not being a person to sit and watch the world go by, I have been volunteering to help the masses who are hurting. Though my shelf-life is shortened, I want you not to worry so much for me; in my sunset, I have no doubt that I will be in great hands and will suffer no more.

That being said...
Working part time in a limited capacity, I am not meeting my paycheck to paycheck bills. Sacrifices will have to be made. My family and I have made a critical decision together this week. In my years of plenty, I had purchased these Disney Items for my children. With deep humbleness, I am selling these items. They are from the Walt Disney Showcase Collection; they are figures of the Disney princesses Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty. These collectables are made by The Royal Doulton. There are two snow globes also for sale. All items have been opened for inspection at time of purchase but never displayed; they are practically brand new.
I am also selling all my medical texts which I authored or contributed chapters to. They are more for historical references as they were published over 20 years ago.

The years have been kind. Many of you know my past as a success in orthopaedic surgery; I have dined and have kept company with royalty and celebrities. I was also a military officer. Both status places a huge amount of pride within me. I am a very proud person. I am faced with the reality of being on the other end of the spectrum presently. That being said, it is with great difficulties that I write this post. I am not asking for a hand out, but would like to ask for your understanding and if funds permit, that you purchase these items. It is not a solution, but it will help with our daily basic needs.

God is sovereign. He provides for all my needs, not my wants. I don't know where this door He opened will take me, but He is there holding my hand as we journey
