Busumbala is a town on the west coast of The Gambia, where a community resides. They are Muslim and are looking for our support to help educate their children. The current Qurans are worn down and the existing madrasa building requires renovation. The first stage of the project will be to purchase Qurans, prayer mats and a storage cabinet. The second stage will be some renovation of the building 

This is an opportunity for you to gain perpetual reward in this life and the next. It has not come to you by chance. Please act and donate as much as you can.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “When a person dies, his/her deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqa jariya, Knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a Righteous child who prays for him/her”

Surely this as a way to engage in such deeds. May Allah SWT reward our efforts and allow them to reap reward and goodness in all our communities. Ameen

The funds will be securely transferred to Yankuba, a resident of the community and son of the local imam, to be put to use. This project is being carried out under the guidance of a UK based charity who do work in the Gambia.
