Arms around M and Gray

We have had both the blessing and privilege of loving and being part of the Davis family over the last 15 years.

On Thursday Aug. 5th Chris Davis suddenly and unexpectedly passed away leaving behind his two cherished children M and Gray.

As close friends of the family, we have stood with, loved, and supported them through a wave train of many hardships. It is unbearable to accept their most recent tragedy.

It is difficult to know how to comfort and help these children continue to move forward after such a terrible and devastating loss....

We know that Chris would want to ensure that his children's needs were met even in his absence. There are so many unknowns and ongoing expenses in their near and distant future.... We want to consider that M has type one diabetes (an extremely expensive disease to treat and manage). We want to consider supporting their physical and mental health as they begin to process and cope with what has happened. We want to consider their future educational expenses.

This is just one way that we as a community can offer support in both a physical and symbolic way. In your future giving you can also consider supporting organizations that were close to Chris's heart, such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDRF) and organizations that support mental health.
