A funeral for Mum

As a lot of you know, mum had been critically ill for about 6 years. She started getting blood clots in her lungs, got glaucoma in her eyes- meaning she went completely blind a couple of years ago. She was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure and received dialysis 4 times a week. She found it hard to walk due to all the swelling and other medical conditions. 2 years ago she was diagnosed with epilepsy after having a seizure and a stroke and being put into a coma, we almost lost her then. But of course, she came back fighting as she always had done. She learned to talk again and still made her usual jokes as she was always in and out of hospital with the most amount of medical conditions. A few weeks ago she was rushed to hospital, we all believed it was Covid. After testing negative 3 times, she was discharged with having had a heart attack. The week after she was readmitted with an infection and then discharged a few days later after recovering.  Just 3 days later, on Sunday evening, mum fell unconscious at home. After hours of resuscitation, the paramedics couldn’t restart her heart and had to give up. We think her body just gave up as she didn't want to be in any more pain, her kidneys completely failed and her heart gave up. All 4 of us children were with her to say goodbye as she passed away at home. Mum doesn’t have much family apart from us four (23, 20, 12 and 11). Me being the eldest, am also her next of kin so we have to sort everything out, including her funeral.  Although mum was very ill, she never thought about planning it and at the age of 46 we never really thought we would have to do it already.  We are just asking for any small donation, no flowers, no cards, just a few pounds if you can towards her funeral costs. We are hoping to get her buried near her Dad and her Grandparents so we have somewhere to visit, especially for our younger sisters as they grow up.  We absolutely appreciate everything that everyone is trying to do for us and are so grateful but this is the one thing we really really need help with. Mum meant the absolute world to us and extra money we raise will go towards a gravestone and white lilies for her grave. We aren’t really certain on exact costs as there is so much to do but we will try and update things as we know them.
