A Funeral For Babs

On Wednesday 20th May, my beautiful mother Barbara sadly passed away. It came as a shock as it was so sudden. Words cannot describe how much I will miss her. She went in to hospital on the Saturday and was dead by Wednesday morning 8.41am.
She was not only my mother but she was my rock. For anyone that knew Babs, she was the most loving person you’ll ever meet. Not only was she there for me but she would always find time whenever her friends and family needed her. She would always have a listening ear and and open arms if you needed a cuddle. She has had a battle with Cancer over the last 3years and other issues, but she always made me feel loved, and I will be forever grateful for that.
I didn't realise how much funerals cost and coming from a working class background and being a single parent, I struggle financially. As I have my mother's funeral to pay for, I am really struggling to come up with paying for the funeral cost, especially as it's around lockdown and my employment being impacted.
I'm sure like every child, you want to make sure you give the best possible send off you can and I really want to make sure my mum gets one as she no doubt deserves it. My mother was incredible. Any donations - even small will really help with the funeral cost. We would be hugely grateful.
