*We got a surprise at delivery that instead of a girl we had a sweet baby boy. He was with us for 6 hours.*

Hello, our names are Chadwick and Heather Henner, and we are trying to raise funds for our baby girl's funeral.

We found out we were pregnant with our fourth child in February. We already have one girl and two boys, so we were excited to add another member to our family. Everything was normal until we went to our 20-week appointment, and that's when everything changed.

We were told that we were having a little girl and that the amniotic fluid was low. We were told it could go two ways, one that Heather was leaking fluid, and there would be a chance for survival or two that the kidneys hadn't developed, and there would be no chance. Over the next few weeks and many appointments and tests, we finally got our answer. After an MRI and hospital stay, we heard the devastating news that she had not developed kidneys and would not survive for more than a few hours once born.

We were heartbroken. After finding out that she was not going to make it, everything started moving at lightning speed. We were told that we were going to carry her to term and immediately began making decisions and plans for her delivery and funeral. Last week we sat down with Serenity Funeral Home and quickly realized that we were going to be unable to afford the costs on our own. Serenity offered services and burial for $1400 and her headstone for $3000. We understand that times are hard right now for everyone. Any amount that you could help with would be very much appreciated and if you are unable to donate, then please just pray for our family as we go through this impossible time.
