Remembering James on his 20th birthday
Donation protected
Hello everyone, to celebrate what would have been James’ 20th birthday today, I’m on a mission to raise funds for a great local cause, Child Loss Support NI. (CLSNI) (previously CLM). James was a precious son, brother and friend to all who knew or met him. James passed away suddenly on the 28th of August 2021 from a rare heart condition, a healthy 18-year-old preparing for the next stage of his education, starting an aeronautical engineering degree in Liverpool. His life was cut short so abruptly and unexpectedly. Losing James is extremely difficult and painful and dealing with it is a process rather than an event.
The CLSNI charity started up in 2022. The group have helped steer me towards coping mechanisms like counselling, alternative therapies, guest speakers etc. They provide a safe non-judgemental setting in a relaxed manner, sharing experiences of child loss and gaining new perspectives on ways to cope. The CLSNI group meet on the last Saturday of every month in the Silverbirches Hotel, you can find out more on their Facebook page.
Will you help me by raising funds for the CLSNI group by remembering James on his special day and in turn, helping others that have experienced the loss of their child, may it be by a heart condition, road traffic accident, suicide, illness and other causes.
Hope to have your support and to see you all on the night of the 14th of April.
