A Fundraiser for Steves' Market and Deli
Donation protected
It's all about giving, love and support Steves' Market and Deli.
Sadly, we lost Steve Harris between Friday and Saturday, and now it is about lifting up Steve Puckett.
When it comes to giving back, supporting and serving the community, promoting change and working hard to preserve history, Steve Harris and Steve Puckett top that list. The owners and operators of one of Brownwood's most beloved restaurants – Steves' Market and Deli never missed an opportunity or a call to serve the community.
Steve Harris passed away late Friday, while being treated in Austin for Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL).
Funds raised will go toward final expenses due to the closure of Steves' Market and Deli.
From the time I met Steve Harris at Mr. Anthony's Coffee Shop 28 years ago, followed up by meeting Steve Puckett, they have been my true friends and true friends and true givers to this community – whether working tirelessly to revitalize the downtown, to opening one of Brownwood's signature restaurants - Steves' Market and Deli – to supporting issues at the local animal shelter and countless other non-profits, to working tirelessly to preserve this community's history at Greenleaf Cemetery - the Steves are always ready to serve.
There is another Go Fund Me set up as well – and I hope you will consider giving to either one or both! It's all about showing love and giving back.
We are grateful for any and all donations!
Also, SHARE, SHARE, SHARE – and pray for a speedy recovery.
Bless you all,
