A Fund To Support The Family Of JP Garreton
Donation protected
Dear Family, Friends, Neighbors and Colleagues of JP:
This past summer, JP was experiencing unexplained weight loss and abdominal discomfort. After tests and scans, his doctors discovered multiple tumors in his liver and pancreas.
Unfortunately, due to the advanced stage of his disease, JP was not a candidate for surgery or even chemotherapy. It was recommended at that time for JP to return home for hospice care, but before Stacia and the children had any time to prepare, JP’s health declined rapidly, and within days, he was gone.
As you might expect, Stacia and the kids have been overwhelmed with the sudden nature of JP's passing and the complexity of everything without JP's presence and support. The family is coping as best as they can.
Sarah and Scott are currently attending college while Emily is working full time and living at home.
They are fortunate to have a large family and a network of friends and neighbors to help as needed, but the expenses related to JP's passing are adding up and we wanted to offer our help financially to lessen the burden for Stacia.
Funds here will be used to offset memorial services, medical bills, household bills and the children’s college tuition. Any financial assistance you can provide to Stacia and the kids will be a huge help going forward!
Although JP was considered to be more of an introvert, he loved to be around people. He was practical and logical, but could also be goofy with those he cared about. Mostly, he had a soft, kind heart for his family. JP was 63 years old.
