Tod Michael Carney spent the last several years of his life valiantly fighting the cancer that took him from his loving family on September 12, 2024. Anyone who knew Tod knows that his wife, Marie, and sons, Grant and Devin, were his reason for being and what kept him fighting far beyond what anyone could expect him to endure.

Many have asked what they can do to support Marie, Grant, and Devin not only at this difficult time, but also into the future. Others have asked what they can do to honor Tod's life, friendship, and memory. This page is established by friends of Tod and Marie to provide the mechanism to do just that. All funds collected will be provided as a gift to Marie to use as she deems appropriate for the current and future benefit of herself, Grant, and Devin; including, most notably, for Grant and Devin's post-secondary education savings funds.

This is a way that we can give back to the amazing man who meant so much to so many of us. It is also a way to show our continued love and support to Marie and the boys. Although Tod would be the first to say this is not necessary, he would also be the first to do this for any of his family or friends facing a similar situation. And, we would like to think that it will bring Tod comfort knowing that those whose lives he touched feel called to contribute to the future success of his incredible boys as well as show his amazing wife how much we care.
