In Loving Memory of Guadalupe “Pita” Campa – A Fund for Funeral and Family Support
First off, I just want to thank you for taking the time to look at our mother's GoFundMe. Regardless of whether you can donate or not, we appreciate any support you offer to our family during this incredibly difficult time. It's not about how much we can give, but how much love we put into giving.
On Friday, March 21st, 2025, our family lost one of the kindest souls we have ever known: our mother, Guadalupe Campa—affectionately known as Lupita or “Pita” to our family. She was a daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a loving mother.
In November of 2024, our mother began experiencing severe and life-threatening medical issues, leading to her hospitalization for three months. During that time, she was placed on life support multiple times and underwent several life-saving surgeries. Despite all the challenges she faced, the one thing she asked for in the hospital was to be surrounded by her children and her own mother.
Throughout her time in the hospital, our mother showed incredible strength and determination to recover. Her spirit was unbreakable, and her love for her family was unmatched. She was the sweetest and most considerate person we knew. She was the type of person who would call you at 7 a.m. just to wish you a happy birthday. No matter if it was a child's birthday or an adult's, she always made sure to celebrate each one with a cake and a smile.
There was a special innocence about our mother—a personality that shone through in her acts of love and kindness toward everyone she met. No matter what she went through, she never had a mean bone in her body.
As a single mother, she loved her four children—three sons and one daughter—and was blessed to be a grandmother. Her love for her family was her greatest joy, and she will be forever missed.
The funds raised here will go toward funeral expenses and any financial support for her mother, our grandmother, Micaela Campa, and youngest son, Benito Campa (Benny), during this difficult time. Thank you for helping and honoring our mother’s memory.
Thank you again for just reading.
