We are reaching out on behalf of David Penn, who has been battling serious heart issues since the fall of 2024. Over the past several months, David has been in and out of Union Hospital in Terre Haute as doctors have worked to manage his condition and stabilize his blood pressure. Despite trying several medications and treatment plans, nothing has brought the improvement we had all hoped for.

After much consultation and consideration, the difficult decision has been made to bring him back home to Montezuma, where he will be surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Our focus now is on ensuring David has peace, dignity, and comfort in the days ahead.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover the many unexpected expenses that come with a prolonged illness—medical bills, home care needs, transportation, and other necessities to make David’s transition home as smooth and supportive as possible. Every dollar raised will go directly to David’s care and to supporting his family as they walk this difficult journey with him.

David has always been a kind, hardworking, and generous soul, and now it’s our turn to give back and show him just how much he is loved and supported.
