A Friend to All Needs our Help!
Donation protected

I decided to create this GoFundMe page for my friend Lisa and her adorable daughter. I believe that while I could make a donation, the impact could be much larger if others are able to read Lisa's story and would consider making a donation. No matter how large or small the donation, I promise all donations are appreciated.
Lisa is not just my friend, she is everyone's friend. She is the kind of person you meet and instantly love because her kindness is genuine. Lisa was there for me during one of the darkest periods of my life. My sincere hope is that Lisa will not only gain the financial assistance she is in need of, but the supportive messages she receives will lift her spirits like she continues to do for so many others.
Here's Lisa's story:
"I am a single mom, who needs help being blessed with a vehicle. For over a year now, I have worked diligently to move into a new place in life! It has been difficult at times. I lived with friends for nine months and then three months ago I was able to save enough to move into my own appartment with gracious house donations. I excercised all my options with state support while also doing everything necessary to support myself and my 2 yr old daughter on my own. My family lives in Canada and so I am eternally thankful for the wonderful friends I have here in Minnesota. Their kindness continues to amaze me.
I am currently working as a Nanny/House Manager for another single mom of 5 kids. I know I am blessed to have the ability to raise my daughter alongside my work family. Part of my job responsibilities involve driving children to and from school, appointments and errands. Needless to say, I drive a lot and I need a car that is dependable and won't require I spend all of my money on constant repairs.
My current car is a 1995 station wagon and it has finally come to the end of its life. The current mechanical issues would cost more than the car is worth or could handle. I have completely exhausted the little savings I have trying to make the repairs I could until it became evident it is beyond repair.
Please believe me when I say I would not ask for help if I wasn't in this desperate situation, I have been made aware of a reliable used van I can purchase. I am hopeful my prayers will be answered so I can continue creating the life I have worked hard to create for my daughter and I. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide and please know I am eternally grateful."
