Hello, I am Saher Abu Habib

I tell you my story through my friend Etienne.

We have been suffering for 140 days of war, even though we are civilians; However, we are constantly being bombed and starved, and we are still living in hell. I used to live in the Khan Yunis camp, and I spent 60 days of the war there. The planes were constantly bombing the houses over our heads. Our house was destroyed in the first days of the war. Then we went to my grandfather’s house, and hell continued. So, our first displacement occured.

On the night of December 5, the occupation set up several fire belts on Khan Yunis camp, and the army entered the ground incursion phase, and we were shot; But we managed to escape.

We fled from Khan Yunis after everything in the camp was destroyed, and we were displaced to the city of Rafah. We live in harsh conditions, facing a merciless war machine. We also face the danger of hunger and cold every night, as we left without our luggage. We do not have winter clothes, because we left them behind. In Khan Yunis, we do not have sleeping blankets, and we also suffer due to the scarcity of foodstuffs and their very high prices. Of course, we have lost our jobs, and we do not currently have any sources of income.

We were displaced towards the safe area - according to what the occupation army claims - but repeated bombing hits the area every night, and we still live in terror and horrors continuously every day..

Our wishes are to be able to escape the inevitable death that befalls us, every moment we listen to the sounds of continuous bombing, every moment we escape from one hell to another..

I used to work in the field of marketing, and now I lost my job due to the war, as the company I was working for was destroyed. The same thing happened to my father, who is the technical director of the Khan Yunis Youth Club. But he lost his job after the army vehicles destroyed the club, and my little brother, who plays for the same club, was deprived of playing football and realizing his dream of playing professionally because of the war. Now the matter has gone beyond human limits, and we are coexisting in conditions that animals cannot tolerate. My brother Etienne is aware of all the details.

هربنا من خان يونس بعد أن تهدم كل شيء في المخيم، ونزحنا إلى مدينة رفح. نحن نعيش في ظروف قاسية، ونواجه آلة حرب لا ترحم. كما نواجه أيضًا خطر الجوع والبرد كل ليلة، حيث نغادر دون أمتعتنا. ليس لدينا ملابس شتوية لأننا تركناها خلفنا. وفي خان يونس لا تتوفر لدينا بطانيات للنوم، كما نعاني من شح المواد الغذائية وارتفاع أسعارها جداً. وبالطبع فقدنا وظائفنا، وليس لدينا حالياً أي مصادر للدخل.

لقد نزحوا نحو المنطقة الآمنة - بحسب ما يدعي جيش الاحتلال - لكن القصف المتكرر يضرب المنطقة كل ليلة، وما زلنا نعيش الرعب والرعب بشكل مستمر كل يوم..

أمنياتنا أن نتمكن من الهروب من الموت المحتوم الذي يصيبنا، في كل لحظة نستمع فيها إلى أصوات القصف المستمر، في كل لحظة نهرب من جحيم إلى آخر..

كنت أعمل في مجال التسويق، والآن فقدت وظيفتي بسبب الحرب، حيث دمرت الشركة التي كنت أعمل بها. نفس الشيء حدث مع والدي، وهو المدير الفني لنادي شباب خان يونس. لكنه فقد وظيفته بعد أن دمرت مركبات الجيش النادي، كما حرم أخي الصغير الذي يلعب في نفس النادي من لعب كرة القدم وتحقيق حلمه بالاحتراف بسبب الحرب. هنا هو.

Nous n’avons pas de vêtements d’hiver parce que nous les avons laissés derrière nous. À Khan Yunis, nous n’avons pas de couvertures pour dormir et nous souffrons également de la rareté des denrées alimentaires et de leurs prix très élevés. Bien sûr, nous avons perdu nos emplois et nous n’avons actuellement aucune source de revenus.

Nous avons été déplacés vers la zone de sécurité - selon ce que prétend l'armée d'occupation - mais des bombardements répétés frappent la zone chaque nuit et nous vivons toujours dans la terreur et l'horreur chaque jour.

Nos souhaits sont de pouvoir échapper à la mort inévitable qui nous arrive, à chaque instant où nous écoutons le bruit des bombardements continus, à chaque instant où nous échappons d'un enfer à l'autre.

Avant, je travaillais dans le domaine du marketing et maintenant, j'ai perdu mon emploi à cause de la guerre, car l'entreprise pour laquelle je travaillais a été détruite. La même chose est arrivée à mon père, qui est le directeur technique du Khan Yunis Youth Club. Mais il a perdu son emploi après que les véhicules de l'armée ont détruit le club, et mon petit frère, qui joue dans le même club, a été privé de jouer au football et de réaliser son rêve de jouer professionnellement à cause de la guerre.
