A Fresh Start for My Girls and I

Peace, my name is Tawana. I am a mom who lives a beautiful life. I find joy in feeding, loving and encouraging myself and others. I am experiencing shifts in life that has shaken us but we continue to support one another and move forward despite the fact that life looks and feels different. Days got dark, but our light has forged us through.

During the beginning of the transition I lost my self. Over and over. My children were there for me. Doing things I never thought I’d need their help with. Then we experienced eviction. Which has been a roller coaster in itself. The car broke down several times and 3 of our loved ones transitioned during this time.

Thankfully, we are still here, family and friends have provided us with places to sleep and support when weary and our vehicle has been repaired. Today, I need your help providing a warm home for my girls and I.
