Our gorgeous Michele has come across difficult times and I’m hoping we can band together as a community to support her through a tough life transition.
Michele has always supported her local community. For many years she was involved in charity work. She started and ran her own charity which purchased and gave brand new underwear to homeless members of the community. Such an act of kindness helped to restore health and dignity to vulnerable people whilst they encountered the hardest of times. Michele has also run the Mum’s of Sans Souci Facebook page for 3 years, welcoming each and every new member of the group, doing all the admin herself and in her own time. Through this page she also occasionally organizes local markets. All at no financial benefit to herself but to just support small businesses in the area and bring the community together. She has also given prizes and gift bags to a local mums group called The Friendly Dummy when ther gave event nights. She does all of this whilst running her own small business, supporting her two beautiful boys and contributing to her church. Honestly, I don’t know how she does it?! She really is an absolute treasure of a human and we’re all so lucky to have her in our local community. It would be lovely to return some support to her when she needs it most.
Michele has very recently become a single mum, is adjusting to all the stressors that being a single mum brings and is supporting her boys through it all. She’s really a super mum! Unfortunately becoming a single parent has affected her financially and before she’s been able to get on her feet has received the news that she is being evicted from her current apartment and she needs to move. The total cost of the move (bond, rent paid forward, moving etc) is $6000 for which she hasn’t had the opportunity to prepare for.
If we all give a very small donation, the cost of a cup of coffee, as a group we can raise the funds in no time and help our beautiful friend and community member to have a safe, happy and much less stressful move into a new home.
I had to work really hard for Michele to accept this GoFundMe page because it’s in her nature not to ask her help but to provide it. I really hope we can help her out this time.
Kind Regards, Kate
