On June 27, 2025, my childhood home was destroyed in a fire. My mom, Maria Orellana, lived in that home for over 20 years and raised five children there. It was filled with love, faith, and memories that meant everything to us.

We lost everything from the roof over our heads to the irreplaceable photos of my late grandmother, important documents, medications, and the small treasures that told the story of our lives.

Watching it all go up in flames broke something in me. It still doesn’t feel real.

But even in the middle of this heartbreak, we are holding on to faith. We know that God is still with us, and we believe that with love, prayer, and the help of our community, we will rebuild.
