My name is John Carter and I am looking for some help relocating to NC. I have been a caregiver to an elderly parent with End-Stage COPD and CHF. My Mom passed away last July and I moved in with my Sister in East TN.

I haven't thrived here the past year. I have an opportunity to relocate to NC in July to be with some friends who will help support me as I continue to rebuild my life. I'm looking for a chance to make things work, but to do so, I need help.

My biggest worry is August's expenses once I get to NC. My car payment is $450, and that is a huge part of my monthly expenses. I don't want to lose my car, as doing so feels like it would be letting my late Mother down.

I can make the move with $500 in gas money. I will be doing this over several trips, as I will be doing the move myself.

Once I get to NC, I will need furniture. A bed frame, desk, and chair. I can do that for another $500.

Everything beyond that would be to keep me afloat until I find work and get settled.
