Hi everyone, my name is Chris, and I’m asking for help to rebuild my life. It's been a long year and some months.

I’ve been homeless since October 14, 2024, and my car has been the only roof over my head for the past year. It’s a 16-year-old vehicle that’s been pushed far beyond its limits, and today I learned it’s no longer safe to drive. The mechanic found a major issue, but the truth is there are several other problems that would cost far more to fix than the car is worth.

Losing my car means losing my shelter, my mobility, and the little stability I’ve managed to hold onto.

I’m trying to raise $2,500 so I can get back on my feet somewhat, where I have a real chance to start fresh and rebuild. This amount would help me get there safely and cover immediate essentials as I work on securing stable housing and employment.

I’m not asking for luxury — just a chance to get out of survival mode and move toward stability again. Any help at all, even sharing this page, means more than you know.
