We are Damion & Necol, the owners of Ms Night Train, a beautiful sailboat that unfortunately lost the battle with the mighty ocean on November 2nd. We and our two cats, Hoops & Biscuit, were headed out to SC when then weather unexpectedly took a turn for the worst and left us without full control of our vessel. After being tossed around by nine foot waves that were picking us up and throwing us onto the seafloor, we eventually landed just off the shore of Tybee Island where we were met by fire rescue that was able to safely get all four of us to shore. While the most important thing is that we are safe, it is going to be a long journey to get back to where we were, with all the love, time, and finances that we had poured into her over the last year. We also want to ensure that the beach is properly cleaned and we leave nothing but a memory of a really rough night behind on Tybee, and unfortunately boat recovery and cleanup cost is not for the faint of heart. We know this isn't a traditional ask, but as we piece back together the adventures we had just started, we hope that you might be willing to lend even the smallest of hands.
