I am a survivor of assault and abuse, and my journey has been filled with challenges since childhood. At 29 years old, I often feel like I have nothing to show for all the hardships I've endured, but I am determined to change that. Despite not being given many chances growing up, I have come a long way from where I could have ended up. My hope is to finally have an opportunity to prove myself to someone who truly appreciates me and help the community.

This fundraiser means the world to me because it represents a fresh start. The money raised will go toward purchasing a laptop and enrolling in college, which will help me build the skills I need to pursue my dreams. I also hope to start my own business one day and, most importantly, have a home to myself where I can feel safe and free from the people who have hurt me. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to a future where I can thrive and live independently.
