A fresh look for The Golden Lotus Studio!

Aloha!!

My name is Isabelle. 10 years ago, I have had the honor and the immense joy of co-creating The Golden Lotus Studio, with my Dear friend Eana Rose and my husband Rod Fisher.

First of all, thank you to our supportive landlords, who helped us make it through the 2020 Covid crisis! Mahalo Nui Loa!

Second, as I am such an animal lover, 5% of the funds will go to Kauai SPCA 

It has been 10 amazing years of offering art and culture, as well as education to the island of Kauai, and we have served many! We have been providing training for massage therapy licensing, a space to do healing bodywork, a space to cultivate wellness through dance, singing, yoga, meditation, music, self help events, social gatherings and more...and you all have shown us so much love and appreciation! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being part of the Golden Lotus Studio one way or an other, from far and close!

As we are celebrating our 10th year anniversary changes are happening! Both Eana and Rod have chosen to retire from our business, and I am choosing to buy my partner out and continuing on!

From that comes a fun and strong desire to make improvements, freshen up the studio with new look, decor, equipment, which is why I am reaching out to see what we can create together to benefit the health, wellness and comfort for our Kauai community as well as visitors!

I would truly love to have a big celebration at the studio, in the form of an open house and dance party...and, I am going to have to wait on that, until we are allowed to have more than 10 people again inside the studio! Rain check on that, stay tuned!!

 

Here is a plan on how I would like to use the funds:

-New Floor for the dance studio as well as front reception room, and if any extra, I would love to expand that to the back room including the healing room $4000

-New website and potential rebranding $2500
-New paint job $1500

-Miscellaneous including wireless mixer for music, TV screen for classroom, new decor, new cabinets, $1000

 

My goal is to have most of that done by the end of 2021.
