A Freedom Story (Polyrhythmic) documentary film
Hello, my name is Ameen Mokdad and my fundraiser for my first long documentary film was filmed during ISIS occupation started in 2016 in the city of Mosul northern Iraq , between Iraq/ Mosul, Baghdad, Erbil, documenting my life as an Iraqi musician and composer try to survive my music then my life when the punishment for doing music was worse than death.

90% of the funds will be to cover the post production, marketing for the film
5% of the funds will be to support Cuatro Puntos.org
5% of the funds will be to support Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet.org

The film starts when I picked up my phone and start filming my life during ISIS times in the city of Mosul, northern Iraq 2016.

On 15th of July 2016
I lost my freedom. or maybe I didn't?!
Freedom is a polyrhythmic story, sound and silent.
This film saved my life from being under dark thoughts and ideas, ending my life was on top, logically that was the best choice and the healthier, even it seems sick already!!

I felt so responsible to save this film and finish it since the day when I lost my freedom, or maybe gained it. Its not only my story, its the story of a big city with many hidden dreams and hopes, many faded souls. And I have been chosen to tell that story. The unspoken words.

The journey of this film started on 15th of July 2016 in Mosul/Iraq

by donating to finish this film you will decide when this film go farther in that journey to start the next step and be visible to you and others
then all the pain will has a worthy meaning....
