Hi, my name is Ryan and this year I will be running the Great North Run with my girlfriend Grace in memory of Ethan Adams

Ethan, aged 8, from South Shields, was diagnosed with parameningeal embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma which also spread to the lungs & bone marrow. Ethan faced cancer, and his treatment, as he did with everything in life, like an absolute warrior. Sadly, after completing chemotherapy & radiation, scans showed cancer cells, and no further treatment options were available. Ethan sadly lost his life on 5th August 2021, just a week after his 9th Birthday.
