Hi everyone I am trying to raise funds to help relieve the financial burden on my Step dad for the funeral arrangements for my Mum, Shona Sharp.

Shona was diagnosed with terminal cancer and sadly passed within 3 weeks of her diagnosis. She leaves behind a loving husband, Children and Grand children, her youngest child being only 16 years old.

Losing Shona/Mum came as a massive shock which gave no one time to prepare especially financially. On top of the funeral costs my Step dad has lost his car due to it being on motability and also my brother has lost his job, which in turn adds more financial pressure.

Christmas was my Mum’s favourite time of the year, it breaks my heart to see my step dad burdening all of this stress on top of losing his Wife, trying to keep the family going whilst full well knowing that once he’s endured the cost of my Mum’s funeral he will have nothing left for Christmas.

I completely appreciate that it is so close to Christmas and funds for everyone will be tight, every penny raised will be very much appreciated by the entire family and especially my Step dad.
