Hi! I'm a college student at OSU Cascades in Bend OR, majoring in Environmental Science. I'm an 18 year old freshman this year, and I'm struggling to pay tuition. My mom is working 2 jobs to help pay rent in a household of 5 when I'm not there, and the job market is tough for people like me to get into. I've been applying for jobs for a year now and have not had any luck.

I graduated a semester early from high school in Texas and moved out of state to pursue my passion for Environmental Science as a first-generation student in my family. I really value education and would like to get a college degree so I can go into applied ecology and work out in the field with other scientists who care about our home as much as I do.
