Honoring the Life of Abiola Otaru

On October 20, 2025, our beloved father, Abiola Otaru passed away in Lagos, Nigeria after courageously battling illness for over 20 years. For two decades, he endured suffering with strength and dignity, and while our family is grateful that he is no longer in pain, our hearts are heavy with grief at his loss.

Abiola was a man of resilience and quiet strength, and he will be sorely missed by his children, grandchildren, extended family, and all who knew him. His journey was not easy, but he remained a pillar of love and faith for his family until the very end.

As his family, we want to honor his memory with a decent and dignified burial that reflects the love and respect we hold for him. Unfortunately, the financial burden of arranging a funeral in Nigeria is more than we can bear alone.
