Hi everyone,

My name is Savanna Chamberlain. I’m reaching out during a complicated and emotional time. My father, Chad Chamberlain, recently passed away, and I’ve unexpectedly found myself responsible for covering the costs of his cremation and final arrangements. I recently had my first daughter and was unaware of the severity of my father’s condition so I do not have savings set aside for something like this unfortunately.

To be honest, our relationship wasn’t always easy. My dad struggled with alcoholism for much of his life, and it created a lot of distance between us. We weren’t close, and that’s something I’ve had to make peace with. That said, he wasn’t a bad person—just human, one with his own battles and brokenness.

Despite his struggles, my dad was a free spirit through and through. A true hippie at heart, he was someone who could make friends with anyone and often did. He had a kind soul and a gentle nature, and many people remember him as someone who made them laugh, feel accepted, or simply enjoy the moment. He didn’t always know how to be a father, but he knew how to be a friend.

Now, I’m trying to give him the dignity he deserves in death, even if life was messy. I’m organizing this fundraiser to help cover the cost of cremation services and some simple arrangements that honor who he was. Any amount helps, and I’m deeply grateful for your support, whether that’s through donations, sharing this page, or even just kind thoughts.
