Our family is heartbroken to share that our beloved Pops (husband, father, grandfather, friend, neighbor) has passed away. He dedicated his life to caring for others as a maintenance engineer in nursing homes, working tirelessly to ensure the comfort and safety of countless residents and their families. His quiet dedication and gentle spirit touched so many lives.
His passing was abrupt and unplanned, leaving our family with the unexpected burden of final expenses. As many of you know, he and our mother have been out of work for some time, making this a difficult financial situation.
We want to give him the respectful and peaceful farewell he deserves, and we know many of you have asked how you can show your love and support. If you are able to, please consider making a small donation to help us cover the costs of his visitation, service and cremation.
As hard as it has been to make this, please know this is not about pride; it's about honoring a life of service and ensuring he can rest peacefully.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.
His funeral service will be at 1:00p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home.
In celebration of Brian’s life, you are encouraged to wear your UofL apparel or red and black.
