Help Us Honor a Life of Giving – A Final Goodbye for a Beautiful Soul
On April 11, 2025, our world became a little dimmer as my mother peacefully passed away after her quiet and courageous battle with cancer. She was a beautiful soul—humble, kind, and selfless beyond measure.
She gave me life.
And she spent hers giving to everyone around her.
Whether it was food, clothes, time, or love—she always found a way to help others, even when she had very little herself. She would clean homes for the sick, cook for families in need, and give her last to someone who had none. She touched more lives than we’ll probably ever know. Her generosity and grace were unmatched.
Now, we find ourselves needing the same kindness she gave so freely.
In the days following her passing, we discovered that her financial affairs weren’t fully in order, and her life insurance policy had quietly lapsed some time ago. As private and humble as she was, she never wanted to burden anyone—especially not her family.
Her final wishes were to be cremated, and we are doing our best to carry those out with the dignity and love she deserved. However, the unexpected costs—along with memorial planning and final bills—have gone beyond what we can handle alone.
We’ve adjusted our goal to $3,500, which will help with:
Cremation and memorial service costs
Final household bills and unresolved expenses
If my mother ever touched your life—or if her story touches your heart—please consider donating or sharing this with others. Even a small contribution helps bring peace and relief during a deeply difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us celebrate and honor someone who gave her all to this world.
With love and gratitude,
Keri Ellis
