A Final Gift for Shelby
Donation protected
Have you ever met a person who makes such an impact on you even in a short amount of time?
Shelby Murch was that person. Her zest for life was contagious, her giving nature was overwhelming and the way she shared such love with every person she came in contact with was unforgettable.
Shel had so many passions in life, and most of those spoke to her fun-loving nature she carried with her. If you were close to her, there was no doubt you knew about her "hoops", because where Shelby went, the hoops went. Her passion for music went perfectly with this talent she developed for hula hooping . She would turn on her favorite songs, and there are many, and dance no matter where she was or who was watching. Shelby knew no strangers. Watching her dance and move her hoops brought joy to everyone who watched her, she was mesmerizing.
Our "Shelba", as Mom calls her, was SO intelligent. When you were talking with her about something she was passionate about, she could talk for hours and loved to share everything she knew with you. She picked up mechanical and engineering practices so quickly, she loved to learn about phlebotomy and all the practices and lab processes, she loved to read and was in her prime when she was challenged with new things.
Shelby faced some difficult challenges in her life. When others may have given up, Shelby's will to succeed and prove to others she could accomplish something was tremendous. On Tuesday October 23rd, Shelby faced a challenge that her body could not overcome. She went into cardiac arrest, and although she was revived, her body could not heal. As family and friends of Shel, we don't want to face that she will not be here with us anymore, but in her passing, Shelby was able to save 3 lives through organ donation in the New England area. As devastated as the loss of this beautiful soul is to all of us, her soul and caring nature is still with us today.
As we push through the most difficult time in all of our lives, we are faced with an unexpected challenge of funding Shelby's final expenses. It is unlike Shel, or our family, to ever ask for help, but we truly want her to be honored in a way she deserves and provide a way for her family and friends to help in the most meaningful way possible. Her funeral services will be announced as soon as possible.
This Go-Fund Me page will be strictly used for funeral expenses. Any additional fund collected will be donated to New England Donor Services and they provided our family with so much support in our final days with Our Shel.
Please share this page on Facebook or any other social media platforms, and know that no matter how small or large your donation, our gratitude will never be able to be expressed enough in words.
