Hi, my name is Febyrika Benally, the eldest child of Timothy and Ilene Benally.

It has been almost 40 years since my father, Timothy Benally, was last seen. After several attempts to locate him, our family had nearly lost hope. Recently, my brother decided to make one final attempt to find our father, with the encouragement of my daughter the search once again began.

To our shock, we discovered that my father was connected to a cold case in Coconino County, dating back to October 20, 1989. Through stored fingerprints and DNA testing, his remains were positively identified by Flagstaff Police Department on September 22, 2026.

After nearly four decades of unanswered questions, our family is now facing the emotional journey of bringing our father home to Rough Rock AZ located on the Navajo Reservation.

We are humbly asking for assistance to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, transportation, lodging for family members, and a final celebration of life. Our hope is to bring my father home and lay him to rest with the dignity, love, and respect he deserves.
