Hello, my name is Anastasia Crater, I am the second oldest out of 4. I am in need of helping my parents lay my little brother to rest. My little brother Jagr, has passed away at home very unexpectedly on January 24, 2026 early in the morning due to a fatal seizure. My mom Nancy, was the first and last person to find my little brother in the state he was in. As traumatic as this all is, we could not save my brother. No amount of CPR could’ve brought him back to life. He was already deceased hours before anyone waking up and my mom coming home working her double shift.

My little brother was only 21 years old, with so much life to live for. I cannot describe the hurt, the saddens, the grief, and numbness we all feel.

My dad, my older brother, and step mom are also hurting from a very far way. For them hearing and knowing their son and brother is no longer here with us—-and 700 miles away down in SC, they too are crushed.

Jagr was a bright smart kid. Jagr was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 13 years old. For years he’s been following up with a neurologist and his primary doctor with regular visits. Today, Monday, January 26, 2026, Jagr was supposed to re-follow up with his neurologist. That day, will never be completed.

My brother suffered with seizures and migraine related issues. With prescription medication to help keep him seizure free and migraine free. —Days before his last scheduled appointment with his neurologist he had experienced migraine related issues. As he usually does he take his medication as it starts and relieves his pain.

Well, January 24, came and his medication failed him… it caused my brother to seize and never wake out of. No parent, no sibling, no aunts, no uncles, and cousins should face to hear their relative has passed away tragically and unexpectedly…

I love my brothers so much and wouldn’t trade them for the world, but I will never understand why my little brother had to pass away the way he did and at his age…
