My name is Danielle Penney and I've had the pleasure of calling Dawn & David Oates friends turned into family for more than 25 years. I have never met two people who compliment each other as much as this couple. They raised their family, did all the things and were looking forward to a life of retirement on the open road together. As they were starting their retirement journey in the RV they financed to see the country, Dawn's health started to decline. Dawn was diagnosed with congestive heart failure over the summer, but she's always been a fighter, so she faced it head on, with the support of her loving husband David by her side. We were so happy to have them back home in New England for a few weeks before they left on another work-camping adventure to Alabama for the winter. Unfortunately, Dawnee suddenly fell ill again and was admitted to the hospital. As hard as she fought, our sweet Dawnee lost her battle with CHF on Wednesday, October 8th when God called her home. We are all devastated by Dawn's sudden passing, but no one more than her husband Dave. I'm asking for your help with Dawn's final arrangements. Dave would like to have her cremated, so that he can take the love of his life with him as he continues with the plans that they made together. I'm asking everyone I know, and those I don't, to donate whatever you can to help us send Dawnee off with Dave.
