On February 15,2021 my dog was hit by a truck from our neighborhood. The owner of the vehicle purposly swerved into the opposite lane , hit my baby and drove off like nothing happened. I was inside checking on my children when I heard the crash. I instantly took my pup to the VCA in rancho Cordova and her first initial vet bill was 1,312.65$. The damage done to my baby girls body isn’t good. She’s going to need surgery on both of her hips. One of fractured/shattered. The other hip is dislocated. Her injuries went much further then just her hips, her pelvis is also shattered and is needing reconstruction surgery to attach pieces back to her hip joints since it’s completely snapped out of place. We have camera footage and the incident was not Accidental, it was Deliberately done. A police report has been filed, and the owner of the vehicle has been found and contacted. It was a hit and run. With many charges that could be pressed including animal cruelty , refusing to render aid, and hit and run. Me and my family are more worried about her well being. If she receives the surgery she will have a fighting chance. I have never ever in my life seen a animal in so much pain as I have now. Anything helps, as some as you may know me and know I don’t do anything without her , she’s my emotional support buddy. I just wanna give her a fighting chance. With the surgery she will be able to enjoy life , without … she wount have any purpose left.
