A Fighting Chance For Britt - She Needs Your Help!

The brave and beautiful Brittany Driscoll needs our IMMEDIATE support as she continues to battle metastatic stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

As many of you know, Britt was diagnosed with this form of cancer in early 2019, around the same time she discovered she was pregnant. Britt delayed treatment until six months into her pregnancy and then chose an alternative treatment that was considered safe for both mother and baby during pregnancy. Britt had to temporarily move to Arizona from California to start the alternative treatment. She spent about one month in Arizona and underwent infusions five days a week. Then, Britt flew home to California for a routine check-up with her oncologist.

Unfortunately, Britt learned that some of the tumors had grown so large that they were causing extreme pressure on her trachea and collapsing one of her lungs. Given the circumstances, she had no choice but to change her course of treatment. Thankfully, her body responded well to the new treatment and she delivered a healthy baby girl on August 20, 2019.

Almost immediately thereafter, Britt completed a full six-month regimen of chemotherapy, and she was told she was in remission by the end of that year.

Sadly, the good news was short-lived. Within three months, Britt faced the tragic reality that her cancer had returned. Over the next eight months, Britt underwent immunotherapy, which stopped the growth of the cancer briefly, but it did not get rid of the cancer.

Notwithstanding her prognosis and symptoms, Britt continued to work until earlier this year, when it became untenable. Britt now suffers from, among other severe symptoms, ongoing and debilitating pain throughout the day that prevents her from working. Fortunately, Britt’s mother, Barbara, stepped in as caretaker to both Britt and Britt’s almost 3-year-old daughter, Gillian.

Since then, Britt has learned that the cancer metastasized.

As a single mother and the sole financial provider to Gillian, Britt needs every bit of support we can muster. Although her unwavering bravery continues, ongoing costly therapies are immediately required to SAVE HER LIFE!!! In addition, Britt is on a very specialized diet and takes numerous supplements daily, which are also extremely expensive.

Imagine the economic hardship, not to mention the emotional toll one would encounter when raising a daughter as a single mother going through cancer therapy while trying to juggle these monumental tasks.
