Help My Best Friend Fight Cancer Again

In 2011, my best friend faced breast cancer in her 30's. Misti fought with incredible strength, courage, and determination—and she won.

After everything she had already endured, we never imagined Misti would have to hear the word “cancer” again.

But now, she is facing a new and frightening battle: brain cancer.

Misti is single and works on a commission-based income, which means that as she faces brain surgery, treatments, appointments, recovery, and the uncertainty that comes with this diagnosis, her ability to work and earn a living is being greatly affected. The bills don't stop simply because someone is fighting for their life.

Right now, she needs more than medical care. She needs the peace of knowing that she can keep a roof over her head, keep the lights on, put food on the table, and focus her energy on getting better instead of constantly worrying about how she will make ends meet.

Anyone who knows her knows how strong she is. She has already walked through one cancer battle and won. Sharing her story of hope and giving others, facing the same, encouragement. She has spent years living her life, working hard, and being there for the people she loves. She has always been a giver of her time, talent, and yes, even her money. She has always been the first to give to others in need without expecting anything in return and most of the time without anyone knowing where the blessing came from. NOW! Now it's our turn to be there for her!

I'm asking for your help—not just to pay bills, but to give my best friend, my sister a little breathing room during one of the hardest chapters of her life.
