On January 31st, my mom was diagnosed with uterine sarcoma, a rare, aggressive form of uterine cancer. Leading up to this diagnosis, she had to miss work due to pain and weakness from all the blood loss. She has been completely off work since the diagnosis, awaiting surgery.

Last night, 2/11, she went into the ER and was admitted into the ICU due to low blood pressure. They determined the best course of action was to transport her to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak so she could receive surgery ASAP. She will be going into surgery for a complete hysterectomy either tonight or tomorrow, 2/12. Recovery will be 6-8 weeks, and she will most likely then have to go through chemo/radiation after.

I am just hoping we can take some stress off her by raising money for bills and any medical bills that may arise through this.
