UPDATE 11/27

After being hospitalized for a week, Roland (Rolly) is now home, he was quarantined for a week and was just recently introduced to other dogs this past weekend. He has made a tremendous recovery and is full of energy. I decided to keep him and give him a life he deserves. He will continue to receive very detailed care as his organs were damaged and thankfully the two vets (who I will announce later on) have agreed to comp the future care he needs until he is 6 months.

I ask for your help on this journey!

I also learned that two of his brothers passed away, while two others were put to sleep, one of the girls was rescued and is also receiving medical help. Because of your help, Rolly is a testimony of hope and human love !

UPDATE 11/15

He has shown remarkable Improvement with a much better prognosis. He has gained 3.5lbs in the last 4 days and will be getting discharged home in the next couple of days to continue his hydration and antibiotic treatments. He’s no longer on a feeding tube and is able to eat by mouth. While he is
improving, the expenses continue to pile up so any contributions is appreciated !

*********************************

We urgently need your support to save an innocent puppy rescued from a dire situation. He was taken from an illegal puppy breeding farm in Pennsylvania, only to end up in a cramped, flea and pest-infested apartment in Arlington, VA, with five siblings. Tragically, one of the puppies in the same apartment succumbed to the illness on the day we brought him home. Unbeknownst to us, he had also contracted the deadly Parvo virus.

We rushed him to the emergency vet in Falls Church, where he is undergoing critical treatment. The vets have estimated a hospital stay of 7-10 days of intensive care with a cost of over $7,000, a sum we cannot sustain on our own. We are reaching out to friends, family, and fellow animal lovers to help cover the cost of his treatment. Any surplus funds will be used to try and save his littermates or, if too late for them, donated to the emergency vet to assist the next Parvo-stricken puppy in need.

At just 2.5lbs and 9 weeks old, he faces a 50% chance of survival. He requires 24/7 monitoring at the vet's office, with ongoing IV hydration, an NG tube for feeding, antibiotics, probiotics, and GI medications administered through IV. Most puppies in his condition are euthanized, but we believe this puppy deserves a fair chance at a happy life.

We are able to cover the first 3 days of the care he needs but with your contribution we can make a significant difference in giving him the care he needs and potentially helping other puppies facing a similar fate.

Thank you for considering and helping us save this brave little soul.
