Hello.
If you were to envision what the epitome of a Christ-led, hardworking, family oriented, gentle-spirited of a young man is, then you would gain a sense of who Jason Williams encapsulates. As strong in those qualities as he may be, Jason is far too humble and loving to find the words to do so himself. Therefore, he graciously allowed his family, with some hesitation and shame, to reach out for in his behalf for help.
With enthusiastic hearts and humbling spirits, we are seeking assistance as 32-year-old, Jason Williams fights for his life. On November 2023, Jason was informed that his newborn son, Xavier, was ill and would need extensive care. Xavier was immediately hospitalized at UAB Children Hospital following his birth until his discharge in late January 2024. Although he remains on a breathing machine at this time, he is gaining strength and weight with each passing day.
However, the celebration of Xaver’s homecoming was short lived. As just days later, Jason went to the doctor with complaints of leg pains. The result was a diagnosis of Ewing Sarcoma Cancer.
Despite this news, being the Christ-led family man he is, Jason returned to work to provide for his family. Unfortunately, the pain worsened as his leg being to swell rapidly. Although he was approved for Short Term Disability to secure his job, he was left with no income nor health insurance; therefore, he is solely responsible for care at this time. He has since completed his first round of chemo with the second round scheduled a few weeks from now.
We need your assistance! Your donation will help assist with the transportation to and from treatment, utilities, medications, and other household responsibilities. No amount is too little and will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to give, we simply request prayers for Jason and the entire family at this time, especially his son (Xavier) and daughter (Journei).
To those who have already given…THANK YOU!!!!!
Now lets prepare to WIN this battle!!!!
