Hi! I'm Samantha Shaber; writer, director, producer, singer-songwriter.

After 20 years touring and releasing albums, I'm now writing films. (My father was screenwriter David Shaber - THE WARRIORS, HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER - so maybe it’s in the genes. )

My first feature script, PEEPING MAUREEN, won 3 Best Screenplay awards. As a stepping-stone to bringing it to the big screen, I’ve written a short adaptation – MY MOTHER THE STALKER – a comedy about family, fandom, and fulfilling your dreams.

I’m working to make it my directorial debut, but need your support. Help me and my team bring these films to life, and add another member to the too-small but growing community of female directors – rise up, Ladies!
